    socket.recv(nbytes) on a thread

    It crash my app....
    isn't possible to use socket on a thread ?

    That is not possible with the current socket module using the standard API. There are a few postings on this board about the nonstandard API that is provided, though. You might want to check that out.

    FYI: the latest 1.1 series releases include full duplex socket support.
