    SMS/PushRegistry on 6600 & 6380

    Hi

My objective is to activate a J2ME MIDlet on receiving an SMS.

    The platforms tested are:
    - Nokia 6680 v2.04.25
    - Nokia 6600 v5.27.0

I've wrote my own MIDlet and used also the WMAExample provided by Nokia (see http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/1,6566,29_35,00.html) with no success.

This morning I only managed to send an SMS from a 6680.

Regarding the midlet activation on incoming SMS, the SMS arrives to the phone, the phone makes some sound :-) but the midlet doesn't do anything :-(

No need to say that it does work pretty well on the Sun J2ME simulator ...

Anybody succeeded to make it working ?

Which is port number that should be used in Jad file on the following line ?
    MIDlet-Push-1: sms://:7500, WMAExample, *

    Best regards,
    Pascal

    Re: SMS/PushRegistry on 6600 & 6380

I made an appli about push registry with SMS on these phones. From what I remember, it didn't work very well on the 6600, the SMs was stored in the inbox, and didn't open the midlet. But on the 6680 it worked fine.
