6610 Unable to open installed applications

I have developed J2ME applications (Midlets MIDP 2).
I have been able to install these applications on my Nokia 6610 using DKU-5 cable and the PCSuite software which came with the mobile.
The applications are installed on the mobile and I get "installation successfull" message. I see the names of the midlets in the Applications panel. However when I tried to open the application I get file open error. The memory is reduced by the size of the Midlet. I am able to delete the application from the mobile with the delete command.

I tried several time the problem persits.

I the midlet were developed using J2ME WTK22 and they worked smoothly with several emulators including the Nokita emulators.

Can you help me to resolve the problem ?

Hi Welcome to Nokia Discussion Boards !!

    >>>I have developed J2ME applications (Midlets MIDP 2).
Please note that 6610 is a MIDP1.0/CLDC1.0 phone.

If ur APP is not using any MIDP2.0 specific classes; U could change to MIDP 1.0 and could install it on ur 6610.

    Hope this helps...

    regards
    Gopal

When developing for a MIDP1 device, use WTK104.
