    Question Exceptions on the 6630

    Hi,

Both J2ME development (but not java dev) and my 6630 are new to me and I'm struggling somewhat.

As far as I can tell, my simple book keeping style app is throwing an exception when I run it on my phone. However, this is just a guess because I end up back at the app list with no error message. I have determined that this is what the 6630 does when an exception is generated (bit of wacky array accessing proved that).

What I really, really would like to know is how to see the stack traces that are generated on my phone, because my app works on suns emulator, works on nokias series60 emulator and works on my friends 6230. Pulling my hair out here so any assistance would be most appreciated

    Thanks

If you create an empty (zero bytes) file with the name "ErrRd" in c:\system\bootdata on the phone, do you see the exception then?

    Nothing changed, still no exception.
