Using a sniffer I see the following info. returned to my browser:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Server: WebSphere Application Server/5.1
Content-Type: text/html;charset=ISO-8859-1
Content-Language: en-US
Transfer-Encoding: chunked

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//WAPFORUM//DTD XHTML 1.0 Mobile//EN" "http://www.wapforum.org/dtd/xhtml-mobile10.dtd">
...

The app won't render on a phone (406 Error) because the content type I believe should be (for a WAP2.0/XHTML1.0) "application/xhtml+xml". Do I have to configure my WebSphere App. server to do this or can I simply
use "response.setContentType("application/xhtml+xml");"??
