    Change Bluetooth Device Name

    I try to change the BT-Device Name with the Code from the SDK-Help.
    I get the Error "Programm closed: SocketServer"
    Can you say why?

    If I try "KBTLinkManager" instead of L2CAP for the Protocol it works to get (right!) the Device Name.
    Even if I use SetHostName Method, I can change (virtually) the Device Name. But it does not appear when I look to the BT-Configuration. What Name do I get and set when I use "KBTLinkManager"-Protocol?

    Code fromExample in SDK-Help:

    // 1. Connect to the socket server
    RSocketServ socketServ;
    socketServ.Connect();
    TProtocolDesc pInfo;
    _LIT(KL2Cap, "L2CAP");
    socketServ.FindProtocol(KL2Cap,pInfo);

    // 2. Create and initialise an RHostResolver
    RHostResolver hr;
    hr.Open(socketServ,pInfo.iAddrFamily,pInfo.iProtocol);

    // 3. Get the local device name
    THostName name;
    TInt ret=hr.GetHostName(name);

    ok, here's another great link in newlc, for checking the error reasons:

    http://www.newlc.com/article.php3?id_article=117

    seems to be overflow, so try locate the excat line that raises the panic, and figure out what is overflowing there.

    Good point, but it is not my program that raises the panic! The program that is closed is "SocketServer". My program is still running and working after the panic (but worthless without the SocketServer).
