No Connection alive with Sockets for a second response

I'm trying to download files with TCP Sockets, even handling Proxy Authentication.

1.- Request a external file by POST
2.- Read the Proxy response Error 407 with Proxy Authentication Protocols that it supports
3.- With the same Socket, Request the same file by POST with some more HTTP headers, even Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive header
4.- When I try to receive the response from Proxy, Socket always got disconnect. I receive a KErrEof status.

I've already try KSoTcpKeepAlive / KSolInetTcp option

It is necesary to receive the second and third response with the same Socket on NTLM Authentication Protocol.

So. I can read a response for second time but not to read a response for second time.

I've already programmed the same stuff on PalmOs, It works perfectly

Are there some flags or options that I'd miss?

Are you sure that the connection is not closed by the other side? What platform are you using? I have a feeling that there might be some problems with sockets on some versions of Symbian as we have also discovered some strange behaviour in some specific conditions...

Were you SetOpt( KSoTcpKeepAlive, KSolInetTcp ) returning KErrNone?

TokenToken posted once to this forum, and it happened almost 3 years ago. Do not expect an answer soon...
