7610/Series 60 videos are only half size

    Hello!
We have got the following problem: a video played with java/mmapi is scaled to 1/2 of the original size. It is the same with DIRECT-MODE and GUI-MODE.

We tried the follwing sizes: 128x96, 176x144, 320x240 and everytime the video is resized to the half, but the "player-region", marked by a black area, is always 176x144.

    We tried mp4 and realmedia.

The realplayer (as a standalone application) on a real 7610 resizes any sizes to fit the 176x144 area. Why is it so much different from within j2me?

Has anyone experienced the same problem and maybe found a solution to it?

    Best regards,
    lightfield

ya, for some reason if you prefetch() the player, it does that. if you just skip the prefetch it plays full size. weird eh?

Thank you for your reply! It is really annoying how differnt the implementations for video-playback are on differnt phones.

now if you could just tell me why playing video in 128x96 chops off about 10px on top and bottom of the video, then scales it back up to 128x96 stretching the video and making it blurry.. I'd call it a fair trade
