Does header contains user's phone number?

When browsing, is there anyway for the server to know the user's phone number?

The phone is not sending it for sure (it doesn't even know its own number), in general).

If you go through a WAP gateway, some operators add the MSISDN to the headers. Some do it only if the receiving side pays for the info.

    Thanks for your reply!

If the operator does include the MSISDN, how should I retrieve it?

By looking at the HTTP headers on the server receiving the request.

China Mobile still sends MSISDN, any other carrier is doing so worldwide?

I think TeleNor and a couple of other Nordic / Scandinavian carriers do. I think most have ruled it out now as it's a privacy policy issue really.
