    XHTML Tables on Nokia 6600

My Nokia 6600 does not render tables in a correct way. Each table data (td) will not be rendered next but under each other. This is the same effect as I would manually add a br tag after each table data tag. Who has experienced the same problem and has a solution for this problem? Thanks a lot.

Does anybody have an idea, because even the official Nokia document of the 60-series tells me that tables should work, but they don't work when I try it on my Nokia 6600.

Is the 6600 just not suitable for tables or should we approach creating tables in a different way?

Re: XHTML Tables on Nokia 6600

    Hmmmh..

Adding to right header to valid formed xhtml. Have you try this?
    <% response.setContentType("application/vnd.wap.xhtml+xml"); %>

There's option to set display type under the menu "normal" and "vertical" if I remember correctly. If you add content type to xhtml it should be always normal

I haven't seen any problem since that fix.
