Question How can one remove bogus sis files from the inbox?

    Hello,

I've been developing using the same nokia 6600 for nine months or so. Over that time period, the installer has choked on a number of sis files. Generally this happens with the inconsistent use of UIDs or a bad build. The problem is I can not delete the sis file from the inbox. When I try the following error is generated.

    General:
    Already in use
    (-14)

Does anyone know of a method to remove them?

Thanks for your time and consideration.

    Sincerely,

    John

    Hi,

Goto inbox and select the file and move it to another folder.
Then the installed application can be deleted from application manager.

And if that doesn't help, use FExplorer (http://www.gosymbian.com) and locate the offending .sis file(s) under c:\system\mail and delete them there, and then the message from within the Messaging app.
