I've written client-side python app for a nokia 6600 that connects to a server on a PC that is also written in python.
the Nokia app connects to my server automatically when it starts,
and then i can send commands from the server (via a user interface) to the phone, one of these commands tells the phone to take a photo and send it to the server.
This works perfectly, except that at the third time i run it (the connection is open throughout the entire time), during the sending of the image, the signal bar on the top left of the phone screen drops to zero, and there's a slash over the G.
The connection is lost completely, and I can't even make regular calls, when i try to dial i get a message "No Network Coverage".
I have to poweroff the phone and then power it up again, and then i get the connection back.
I've tried this several times, the exact same thing happens over and over again (i've tried it with and without the bluetooth connection to a PC and it didn't change a thing)
Thanks in advance,
