Query OS for default video player?

    Hey,

Total noobie on all things Symbian here.

I'm developing a Series60 app that needs to link to an external video player app (RealPlayer?)

Q: Is there an API that allows me to query the OS for a default video player, or if one is even installed?

    -c

you could always use RApaLsSession to launch any file with default handler application, also it will return error code if no applications for the specified filetype can be found.
