    [Need Help] SIP API for J2ME (JSR 180) and Nokia 7610?

    On MIDP SIP Emulator, it runs good
    But I want to buy a real phone(Nokia 7610)
    Is "SIP API for J2ME" Supporting Nokia 7610 ?
    Need help to understand this question !!

    No you cann't

    Emulator supports SIP API as, jar files for that lib is configured in the classpath.

    But the real scenario will be different in the real devices.

    Real device can access only those Packages which are provided by the Device Manufacturer as a part of Firmware.

    SIP API is declared as an optioanl package for the device manufacturer from Sun Microsystems.

    Nokia 7610 have only CLDC 1.0, CLDC 1.1 AND MIDP 2.0 Programming capabilities.

    So you cann't execute a code with SIP API in the Nokia 7610.
