Sending SMS from Java application on PC

I need to send an SMS message from my PC using Java.

I have a Nokia Card Phone installed that I need to use for this.

I'd like to avoid loading too much more software on my PC but will do this if I need to.

Please tell me if this is possible? And if it is, where do I start?

    Thanks for any advice.... Steve.

    Hi,

You can use for instance CIMD Java example application (File name: javacimd.zip) which you can download from the Forum Nokia web site:
    http://www.forum.nokia.com/smsforum/main/1,35452,1_2_9_25,00.html

In order to send messages from PC to mobile phone you need an SMSC ASE account for this purpose. You can get fee-based ASE account for 2 months from the following Forum Nokia web site: http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/1,35452,23_70,00.html
Remote Short Message Service Center Access

SMS AT-commands would be quite simple to implement an SMS application
    on PC using Cardphone.
