NOKIA 30 programming - Java API

I'm developing a security system for server rooms that will be able to alert the user by the use of an SMS. The system is being developed by using JAVA as the main programming language.

I have decided to purchased the NOKIA 30 because its m2m abilities could be proved to be very helpful for the project. But I could not find anywhere a Java API developed for the NOKIA 30.

I would like to ask if such an API exists. Is there any Java API that could be used for the communication with the NOKIA 30 and providing SMS abilities?

I would also like to ask if NOKIA 30 supports MIDP programming

    Hi,

Nokia30 has some in build services like sending SMS.

The interface for using these services is defined as CORBA IDL.

You can make the JAVA program which use this interface.

The requirements for using this interface are:

    - The programmable logic is in the application module
    - You are using JAVA ORB and the ORB:n transport layer can be changed to the M2M System Protocol.

Please visit our application development page at http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/1,6566,1_70,00.html
and choose "Application Development" to find out more
    information about Application Development.
