    how to resolve these linker errors...?

    hai all..
    I have created an application for implimenting a delay while drawing a pie ihave given it in a for loop and changing the arguments of the pie.

    the loop worked successfully.But when i add the after() for delaying some linker errors have been generated .then i add the library for the after() function .But still there are some linker errors they are as follows.

    Errors caused tool to abort.

    Link Error : Undefined symbol: 'ChiHeartbeat::ChiHeartbeat(void) (??0ChiHeartbeat@@QAE@XZ)'

    Link Error : referenced from 'void ChiContainer:raw(class TRect const &) const (?Draw@ChiContainer@@EBEXABVTRect@@@Z)' in hiContainer.c
    pp:110

    Link Error : Undefined symbol: 'void ChiHeartbeat::After(class TTimeIntervalMicroSeconds32) (?After@ChiHeartbeat@@QAEXVTTimeIntervalMicro
    Seconds32@@@Z)'

    Link Error : referenced from 'void ChiContainer:raw(class TRect const &) const (?Draw@ChiContainer@@EBEXABVTRect@@@Z)' in hiContainer.c
    pp:111

    Link Error : Command failed with result = 0

    Link Error : Link failed

    please help me in resolving these errors
    regards

    Hi Peter,

    Linking problem arise due to missing of some obj files or library files.
    I think u might have added the path of the library and lib name in the mmp file.
    Try this two things

    1. Goto the Project menu of the Codewarrior and choose the option like
    a.Project->Re-Import Symbian Project
    b. click ur mouse at the editor.
    c. Ur mmp will now converted with new mcp which has updated ur new library.

    2. press Cntrl and - button, u will prompted for removing the object files for all target. U select the option as Remove all.

    3. Now try compiling.

    If u still get, just let me know

    Thanks
    Gilly
