Re: error 10053 during TCP Write

    Hi

I encountered the same error as you did. I'm using Apache Tomcat to host the servlet. It works on one server but throw that error on another. For my case, the problem lies in the Apache Tomcat Connectors. You can try specify the port explicitly for the servlet or configure your mod_jk module.

The full documentation can be found in: http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/

This post is very old but still I want to share my knowledge. I also encountered the same error but I recently fixed it by clicking Edit->Preferences-Network Configuration and changing the Http Version from HTTP1.1 to HTTP1.0. This works in Sun Wireless Toolkit 2.5.2.

Re: error 10053 during TCP Write

Even changing the settings are not working on my side...

SocketConnection gives me "java.io.IOException: error 10053 during TCP read" while HTTPConnection works fine...

I am using Win7 and the same code works fine in Win XP on the same system...
