Headers folder missing CW project view

    Hi,

How do I get the headers (folder) included automatically in the CodeWarrior project view. I haven't found a setting for this in preferences. Or is there something else wrong with my environment.

When I import a project I can see only
    Source
    Resources
    Link
    Libraries

Thanks in advance for any tips!

This is a feature that was actually added to the import scripts of an sdk (under \epoc32\tools). So only newer SDKs will have this feature. There's nothing you do or configure; when you import your project the project headers just show up in a Headers folder.

    Thanks,

That explained the "problem". Do you know if it is possible to fix (easily) the project import script or maybe use a script from newer SDK?

You could try (an unsupported hack if you are feeling adventuresome) to modify "epoc32\tools\ide_cw.pm". (Of course, make a back-up of the origianal first.
You would need to find the code that adds the headers in.
e.g. S60 3.0 beta would have this feature, just search for the block:

    if ($addHeaders) { ... }

then copy that block to your own SDK's ide_cw.pm and re-import the project.
You should never try to use a script in it's entirety from another SDK.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

did it works for you? I playing with modifying the file for one hour and finally I give up. Everything seems to be modyfied correctly, but when I import the project the "Headers" folder does not appear in the source tree
