    Unhappy Borland C++ Builde Mobile Edition & N7710 SDK

    Hi All. I have some problem
    I'm setup software:
    Borland C++ Builder Mobile Edition
    N7710 SDK
    JRE
    Perl

    When i'm build sample (or my) project from command line all right. Then run epoc emulator, my application work.

    When i'm build application from Borland IDE, application build, but IDE display status "Project Build Failed" and display in messages box next text:
    + SDK: Symbian OS 7.0s
    + Project: C:\Symbian\Series90\Series90Ex\MyDbApp\group\Project_Files.bpr
    + Target : \Symbian\Series90\epoc32\release\wins\udeb\MyDbApp.app
    + Current Directory : C:\Symbian\Series90\Series90Ex\MyDbApp\group\
    + Environment: =::=::\
    + Command: cmd /c perl -S abldb.pl make wins udeb
    + abld resource wins udeb
    + abld makefile wins
    + abld library wins
    + abld target wins udeb
    + abld final wins
    + abld -check build wins udeb
    + build complete.
    + Read buffered data.
    + 0 lines of buffered data.
    + Project Build failed.

    When i'm rum epoc from command line, all right. Why IDE report me that "Project Build failed", nothing error\warning.

    Help me, please....

    Enable Build Log in Project Properties and look for errors there.

    If you have enabled the message view, there should be a "build"-tab and a "build log"-tab. In the build log you can see compilation errors etc., while the build window shows issued commands like abld, makesis.

    I mean enable in tools/preferences/build/Browser/build/activate build tab.
    Also, using WINS instead of ARMI toolchain gives more detailed errors..
    cheers,
    John

    In IDE C++ Builder i see only 2 tabs with results of buld: "Build"-tab - it free and "Build results"-tab here i see text public above. checkbox "Enable verbose Build Results" in Project Options nothing changed in both tab.

    It is The C++ Builder X Mobile 1.5.0.402 of the Borland Mobile Studio Package.
    On the top menu it is the 5th entry from the left (Project)
    in the upcoming menu select Project Properties (3rd from bottom)
    Now there should open a small window with project properties. Select the Build item on the left, on the right you should then see show build log as the second last entry.

    Otherwise WHICH exact version do you have ?

    For the build process of symbian apps please first RTFM. There are tutorials ;-)
    cheers,
    John

    Re: Borland C++ Builde Mobile Edition & N7710 SDK

    I have C++ Builder 6, not BuilderX.

    I'm install Borland C++ BuilderX Mobile Edition 1.5.0.402, connect SDK
    for Symbian 60 v1.2 and SDK Series 90

    for Symbian 60 all right, project compiled and then rum emulator, but when compile Series 90 they not support platform WINSB, it's needed paltform WINS. How adjust BuilderX for support WINS platform?
