Installing Nokia D211 at WIFI enable Notebook

    Hi All

I have a Nokia multimode Card, and working properly.
This week I buy a new CMPAQ Presario, which has a built in WIFI.

Before installing the driver, any one knows, hw to avoid conflict between Wifi in notebook and the card..?
I need only the GPRS/GAM modul for fax, SMS

    Thank you for your help

There are no conflicts to avoid (Windows can support multiple network adapters, WLAN or otherwise, just fine). Just don't use the D211 for WLAN, if you don't want to.

Thank you..I installed in Compaq Preasario V2313Ap my Nokia D211, and it works without any problems. For WLAN, I use the notebook native WiFi.

Anyone wants to use D211 in notebook with Wifi Enable under Windows XP, will have no problems.

    Best regards

This is something that I could not believe in the beginning

I turn off WIFI of the notebook, and select the WIFI at the Nokia D211
    It worked..

now you can have an emergency/ second WIFI for SIM based WIFI connection

    Best regards
