    Startup list problem...i not able to put an application in startup

    hi,
    I am trying to put the helloworld application in the startup of the device. However i am not able to do so. I am using the Startup list management API...Here is what i have done...

    i have created a startup control file 10005B91.rss
    10005B91.rss
    #include <startupitem.rh>
    RESOURCE STARTUP_ITEM_INFO HelloworldBasic
    {
    executable_name = "c:\\sys\\bin\\helloworldbasic.exe";
    recovery = EStartupItemExPolicyNone;
    }

    i have compiled this resource file in the mmp file of the project
    helloworldbasic.mmp as follows

    START RESOURCE 10005B91.rss
    HEADER
    TARGETPATH resource\apps
    END
    //RESOURCE

    Then in the pkg file i have put this compiled resource file into location c:\private\101f875a\import\

    .pkg file
    ;Files to install
    "..\..\..\epoc32\release\gcce\urel\HelloWorldBasic.exe" -"!:\sys\bin\HelloWorldBasic.exe"
    "..\..\..\epoc32\data\z\resource\apps\HelloWorldBasic.rsc" -"!:\resource\apps\HelloWorldBasic.rsc"
    "..\..\..\epoc32\data\z\resource\apps\10005B91.rsc" -"c:\private\101f875a\import\10005B91.rsc"
    "..\..\..\epoc32\data\z\private\10003a3f\apps\HelloWorldBasic_reg.rsc" -"!:\private\10003a3f\import\apps\HelloWorldBasic_reg.rsc"
    "..\..\..\epoc32\data\z\resource\apps\helloworldbasic_aif.mif" -"!:\resource\apps\helloworldbasic_aif.mif"
    "..\..\..\epoc32\winscw\c\private\10005B91\hello.txt" -"!:\private\10005B91\hello.txt"

    At least one quick notice.
    The 10005B91.rsc should be [10005B91].rsc.

    hi,

    For applications of unprotected uids Startup Management List doesn't work . So plz try with 02x..... uid and with a dev cert should work for the start up management list.

    Thanks and Regards,
