    Formatting forms

    Hi,

    I want to format the text in a form but I'm having a problem. To place text on the next line here is the code that works:

    form.append("\nHello");

    However, I want an identation for some text (i.e. tab). This is the code I got from my reference book:

    form.append("\tHello Again);

    This does not work, it just displays the text alongside it. Can someone tell me the correct syntax or another way around this?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Formatting forms

    Hi,

    I suppose javax.microedition.lcdui.Spacer is of some use.

    Please check this link for a sample code of spacer.

    Re: Formatting forms

    Gopal,

    thanks for your reply, it is helpful. The problem is though that I want this to be able to work on MIDP 1.0 as well as 2.0.

    Is there not another way around this?

    Thanks
