    Question J2ME video recording

    Hi friends,

It fails when i try to record the live captured video, but a sis application can work it out on N6680 which realizes the same function. Can somebody tell me the way in j2me? Thanks a lot!

    Regards,
    Winnie

    Re: J2ME video recording

You should use the Mobile Media API to perform live video capturing. See SDK docs on MMAPI to check some sample codes.

Example for Sony Ericsson k610i and k800i:

Attention: uses special locator "capture://audio_video", does not work with "capture://video".

I want to capture video frames one after the other continously. Snapshot API provides images whereas recordcontrol allows recording in mp4/3gp format. Also with record control, data is received in file format for a fixed duration/size but i want video frames (on scene basis) one after the other while recording is in progress.

Is this possible. If yes, then how ???

Here is a source code: RecordControl on the camera Player instance.

It is available from Chapter 8.

You do not have really access to the video stream unless you have committed the recording.
