    BTPOINTTOPOINT example in LINUX

Hi hapy new year to everyone,

My problem is that i'm trying to run the example BTPOINTTOPOINT between my nokia 6680 and a PC with LINUX SO.

I try to connect but I always get "Connection error-1".
Before try I did in the linux kernel:
    # sdptool add --channel=4 SP
    # rfcomm listen /dev/rfcomm0 4

But I can't manage to connect both devices.

    Please can anyone help me.

What i'm doing wrong, or what i have to configure in the PC.

    Thanks a lot

    Hi,

I have a similar problem. Did you get it sorted yourself?

Make sure that you're connecting to the right port from your client application. You can find out which port u need to connect to using.
This is what I've used in the past and its worked fine:

    sdptool add sp
    rfcomm -r listen /dev/rfcomm0

the -r specifies raw mode.... I think
