    Exclamation SATSA UserCredentialManager problem

    Hi

    Now, I am trying to use UserCrendtialManager to add a self-signed certificate .cer to its recordsotre, code lists as belows:

    // retrieve the cert stored from res folder

    byte[] readBytes = loadBytes("/tomcat.cer");
    try {
    UserCredentialManager.addCredential("tomcat",readBytes,null);
    } catch (UserCredentialManagerException e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    }

    but I got the error:
    java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid pkiPath
    at com.sun.satsa.pki.PKIManager.addCredential(+94)
    at javax.microedition.pki.UserCredentialManager.addCredential(+6)

    Actually, i don't really know what exactly pkiPath needed..and how the URI to be set

    Thanks in advance!

    Did you find any solution for this?

    Re: SATSA UserCredentialManager problem

    Hi,

    You should check the JavaDoc for this class. pkiPath is actually the parameter name for the byte array that you pass to the addCredential method. There's a big description of it in the addCredential method of UserCredentialManager class.

    If you have Carbide.j installed, this JavaDoc is in C:\Nokia\Devices\Nokia_Prototype_SDK_4_0\docs\satsa\index.html
