    Retrieving Camera Resolution programatically

    Hi,

    My program needs to save the image only in 640*480 resolution
    before sending to server side for processing.

    I know this can be achieved by chaging the aSizeIndex object in the
    PrepareImageCaptureL(TFormat aImageFormat, TInt aSizeIndex)
    method of CCamera class.

    So if the phone has VGA Camera I do
    iCamera->PrepareImageCaptureL(iColorDepth,0)
    if the phone has MegaPixel camera I pass 1 instead of 0

    But this means I have 2 sis files for mega and VGA phones.

    I want a way to detect the camera resolution dynamically - so that I dun
    have 2 versions of the sis files.

    Does anyone know of any way to detect camera resolution??

    Thanks in Advance
    Sourabh

    Take a look at CCamera::EnumerateCaptureSizes() method. Symbian documentation is your friend too: http://www.symbian.com/developer/tec...meraclass.html
