    Browser API how to send a url as a message

    In Browser Api's how do we pass a URL as a parameter

    TInt TApaTask::SendMessage(TUid aUid, const TDesC8& aParams);

    we set aUid = 0;

    Am facing problems with what is a Bookmark UID...?
    How do i know it?

    Or if i want to pass an url directly can i say

    param->Des().Copy( _L( "4 http://www.google.com" ) );

    If the above is passed into sendmessage will it open this url in already running or newly started browser?

    This is failing hence the doubt?

    Re: Browser API how to send a url as a message

    The below code snippet is the preffered way of open any local document type in Series-60.The handler application can be lauched standalone or embedded.The Embedded launching is preferred way in Series60.

    TBuf16<40> filename;
    TDataType contentType(_L8("text/html"));
    filename.Copy(_L("c:\\System\\Apps\\Expt\\README.html"));
    iDocHandler = CDocumentHandler::NewL( (CEikProcess*)Application()->Process());
    iDocHandler->OpenFileEmbeddedL(filename,contentType);
