    IDE recommendations

    Hi,
We have decided to port our J2ME application to native c++ code targeting the following platforms:
    • Symbian s60
    • Symbian s80
    • UIQ
    • Windows Mobile

We would like to use a single IDE for all this platforms.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what IDE to use?
I've read about the poor support for Symbian SDK on VS 2005, but is it really unusable?
Does anyone have any experience using a non Visual Studio IDE for Windows Mobile development (i.e. CodeWarrior, Borland C++), and how did this play out?

    Many thanks
    Martin

    Re: IDE recommendations

Support for VS is getting worse for S60, with S80 VS works just fine. CodeWarrior is the #1 tool for S60 3rd edition, but there are a lot of bugs and the usability isn't that great. Hopefully Carbide.c++ will fix all the problems. The entry-level Carbide.c++ Express tool will be available for free download in the first quarter of 2006 at Forum Nokia.
