I had noticed that when it is documented that a camera phone has the MMAPI package included as its Java technology it doesn't mean that it always supports the entire package but only a subset like say on the Nokia 6255 where video capture support is false as I have learnt from http://www.club-java.com/TastePhone/MIDP.jsp. So it would then have developer access to another subset being possibly the audio functionality on the device. I do not understand why is it that although a camera is present along with the MMAPI, video capture is not possible. Can someone please explain this to me? I'd appreciate it.
