    Exclamation Visual Studio.Net 2003 - S60 Problem (Urgent)

    Hello,

I am trying to compile a project using Visual Studio.Net 2003 and SDK S60 3.9 beta version and I have the following problems:-

    Updating Bemused.mmp based on Deb_S80_20_WINS
Update of mmp file not needed
    WINS (emulator) build
------ Rebuild All started: Project: Bemused, Configuration: Deb_S80_20_WINS Win32 ------

Deleting intermediate files and output files for project 'Bemused', configuration 'Deb_S80_20_WINS|Win32'.

    Bemused - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)

    ---------------------- Done ----------------------

Rebuild All: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 skipped

If you can see here that the project can not find the following files:

avkon.rsg: No such file or directory
avkon.rh: No such file or directory
avkon.mbg: No such file or directory

this 3 files are included in MyProject rss file.

and as result of this files the compiler throws the following error:

Bemused error PRJ0019: A tool returned an error code from "Performing Pre-Build Event..."

    Any suggestion?? Please!!!!

    Other imported projects work fine!!!

    Thank you

    Re: Visual Studio.Net 2003 - S60 Problem (Urgent)

You are using the the S80 SDK to compile S60 code which does not work very well, choose the correct SDK from the build target drop down menu.

May I suggest that before you post any additional questions you take the time to read through the getting started document in the Carbide.vs /doc directory under the Carbide.vs home direcroty (C:\Nokia\Tools\Carbide.vs). Answers to all questions you have posted so far can be very quickly found if you take time to read the doc.

    Exclamation Re: Visual Studio.Net 2003 - S60 Problem (Urgent)

    Thank you

I have read many many many things including all the things that you suggest. Anyway!! Thank you for your suggestion.

The problem here that I have installled SDK80 and also SDK60 3.0beta version but while importing this project using Visual Studio.Net 2003 and using the SDK Configuration Manager I have the 2 SDKs but SDK60 is disabled and I can not enable it at all.

Hope that you understand the problem...

So what you suggest now please?!!

    Thank you
