    Hello chinsuvent,

It is not clear what kind of software you're looking for. Besides, which handphone? This is going to add a little more information and help when thinking about the reply.

    1. Anyway, if you're looking for commercial off-the-shelf software i am not sure exactly what the full options are. If you'e on Symbian then take a look at http://www.allaboutsymbian.com and look for speech.

If you're a developer (and I believe you are) in Java we have the JSAPI - JavaSpeech API. It could be used to develop a speech recognition application. Java has the FreeTTS implementation - http://freetts.sourceforge.net/docs/index.php

However, I do not know if there's a way to have this application developed in JME, let's research about it and see what we'll get.

Is it possible to use FreeTTS? Could anyone from Nokia provide an answer?

    2. If we found out that it's feasible, use a PC and development tools from Forum Nokia - http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,6566,033,00.html to build the software deliverables.

It is not clear what you meant using "build it", if you hardware issue is the target running remote unit then you can use a Nokia handphone (display, keypad) or Nokia IMP-Information Module Profile module (no display, digital and analog interfacing - see the Nokia 12 module) - Also take a look at IMP-NG...

For IMP - Information Module Profile (IMP) JSR-195
    http://java.sun.com/products/imp/index.jsp

I don't know exactly if this is the information you're searching but it is a reply at least (you asked plz do reply

You should read JSR-113 and wait at least a year.
