    To check Battery charge Level

    Hi:

    I'm developping one Symbian app to check battery status. I have used ETELMM and Mobinfo API and battery charge level never change, I always get the same value.
    I only get changes if I reboot the phone.

    I use this methods (ETELMM) in Active Objects:

    Phone.NotifyBatteryInfoChange(iStatus, iBatteryInfo);

    iPhone.GetBatteryInfo(iStatus, iBatteryInfo);

    The first method never wake up and the second always gets me the same value.

    Can anyone explain me what happen??

    Thanks

    Pd: I have Series 60 phone (nokia 6670)

    As the documentation in MobInfo implies, some devices do not support reporting the battery change level. They can get it once when the phone is restarted, but they do not continuously monitor it, hence you cannot determine the bettery level on all devices.

    Thanks for your answer.
    Do you Know another API or .LIB to monitor the charge level of battery?
    I have tried with ETELMM and ETELBGSM and i have get the same result...Could be a Nokia's phones problem? Because i have tested a nokia 6680 and 3650 too.

    Thanks.

    There's quite a detailed thread here, which may be useful for completeness since there are loads of links in it. I'm not sure whether any of them will work for you though...

    ...for example, this link has some good information, but is only practical for Symbian OS Devevelopment Kit (DevKit) licensees:

    I believe I was replying to the question by abernues. If you are, in fact, the same person, that's not clear.

    I'm sorry if there's no more information available than when you last posted, but my answer was an attempt to clarify to abernues what *is* out there - and I don't think it's necessary to be sarcastic.
