Thumbs up Different classes for audio streaming

    Hi all,

After I study the resource in the forum and the SDK Help, I find that there are three possible ways to perform "Full Duplex Audio Streaming" in Symbian C++.
    1. CmdaAudioRecorderUtility/CMdaAudioPlayerUtility
    2. CmdaAudioInputStream/CmdaAudioOutputStream
    3. CMMFDevSound

Anyone know what are the difference of using these 3 classes? Which one is the best way to do "Full Duplex Audio Streaming"? I am planning to make a VoIP prototype.

    Regards,
    Steve Lai

Re: Different classes for audio streaming

CmdaAudioInputStream/CmdaAudioOutputStream is the Nokia recommended way to do that.

CMMFDevSound is not documented. In fact I think they do not ship its headers with S60 3.0 SDK anymore.

    #1 is not a solution.
