    Carbide.c++ & UIQ 2.1 SDK problem

    Welcome!
    I'm rather new to Symbian development, but I tried several different ideas and nothing worked.

    I installed Carbide.c++ Express 1.0 and UIQ SDK 2.1 + latest available update for it.

    The problem is that carbide don't see this SDK, i have a "No SDKs were found. Make sure you have a valid devices.xml or defined SDK" error when i look into SDK Preferences.

    My SDK sits in the standard c:/symbian/UIQ_21, also my devices.xml looks OK, registry key pointing to that devices.xml also looks good.

    Am I missing something? What's the problem?

    Did you install a CodeWarrior (WINSCW) version of the UIQ 2.1 SDK, or the Microsoft VisualStudio (WINS) version? Carbide.c++ supports CodeWarrior versions only.
