    Exclamation internal compiler error

    Hi friends,

Can you tell me what this error means.

    ................
internal compiler error (please report at <http://www.forum.nokia.com>) while executing in file StackFrame.c: 'StackFrame_SuggestAlignment' (line 814) (compiling '?FindPMVD@MotionVectors@@QAEXPAUmotionvector@1@HPAH1H@Z' in 'MotionVector.cpp')
    ................

My works fine with carbide.vs with S60_2nd_FP2 but carbide.express with S60_2nd_FP2_CW gives this error.

    Thanks in advance

    Re: internal compiler error

Hi - Can you say which compiler it is and possibly provide a way to reproduce?

    Thanks,
    Tim

Hi - That's not the compiler, it's the IDE. What target are you building for? e.g. Emulation (WINSCW) or Phone (e.g. ARM4, GCCE).

Does this happen on a specific example or everything you try to compile? Please be specific about how we can reproduce this error.

    Thanks
    Tim

    Re: internal compiler error

Carbide Express doen't use any components from VS. You will really have to give some detailed steps and an example program to demonstrate this problem. Can you build a simple helloworld example successfuly? Can you build anything or is it specific to one application?

    Re: internal compiler error

Only that Application gives that error.

Also if i create a Hello world application for series 60 2nd ed SDK. Then Following error occurs.
    ---
The system cannot find the file specified.[make ]
    ---
.app file is generated but not the .sis file.

    what i am doing wrong.

    <internal compiler error: in verify_local_live_at_start, at flow.c:546>

    OPTION GCCE -O3 -fno-unit-at-a-time

Above stateemnt in my .mmp file was the thorn on my way .. i commented it and it worked fine !
    I then changed it to

    OPTION GCCE -O2 -fno-unit-at-a-time

    It now appears fine !!
