    python with J2ME

    Hi All,
    Can anyone knows how to execute python script from J2ME code???? First of all can we do that?? If yes please give me an idea about how it could be done. Small example code would be greatfull to me.

    I think this is not possible considering that Python for Series 60 is not accessible from JME, i mean, AFAIK it does not provide (yet) any JME hook. Perhaps we have some development in this regard but I've never heard of such a project.

    Python for Series 60 mandates a separate install package, see:

    "The device installation package includes the Python interpreter (based on Python 2.2.2), select Python Standard Libraries, a script shell for launching Python scripts, a variety of native extensions, and a Python Console for interactive development. Python for S60 can also be added to S60 SDK's for PC-based development, testing, and creating application installers."

    Anyway, I think you could find better answers in the Python for Series 60 Forum -
