Re: 6820 - calling number from MIDlet

6820 is a MIDP 1.0 device and the platformRequest() method (which is used to make phone calls and open a web page) was introduced in MIDP 2.0 specification. In this light, I would say that calling a telephone number from a J2ME app on 6820 is not possible.

    On which device? 6820?

On MIDP 1.0 devices this is not possible.
On MIDP 2.0 devices this is possible through platformRequest
