This particular issue has bothered me for a year or so. For a while, it seemed to have disappeared, but it came back... Two of my co-workers have also encountered the same issue.

The problem: Every now and then after using some removable media, such as memory stick or cd-rom, CW ide shows a weird "LHintAttachment: IDE.EXE: There is no disc in the drive. Please insert disc into drive D:" (cd-rom drive, in my case.) error note with "Abort", "Try again" and "Continue" buttons. None of these buttons work unless I put some random disc into cd drive. This only happens when trying to build a project from IDE.

What the heck is this error (and that LHintAttachment anyway?) and how do I get rid of it (for good, not just temporarily)?
