    PC Suite 6.7 and ca-42 connection problem

    Hello everyone!

    I have a problem I hope you can help me solve.
    Recently I bought a nokia ca-42 connection cable for my nokia 6610. My problem is that i cannot get it to work on my computer. After installing cable driver and PC Suite 6.7 rel 22 I get the message.

    "PC Suite does not recohnise the connected phone. The connection between the PC and the phone failed, error code 0x80043605. ..... "

    I tried using the supplied driver with the cable and the driver from PC suite but nothing worked.
    When using the cable on my sister ilb laptop there is no problem so i recall it must be something with my own computer. Any suggestion to what?

    When pluggin the cable in my own computer the cable is regonized as a usb-uart device and on her computer its only a usb device.

    Nokia end user products support questions should be addressed at Nokia's online support sites http://www.nokia.com/support not here in Forum Nokia.

    Also there are some localized product support forums and one that is monitored and where you can get attention and solutions http://discussions.nokia.co.uk/discussions/. If you post your concerns there you may get a response from Nokia end user support.
