Nokia Series 60 MIDP SDK Beta 0.1 and J2ME WTK 1.04

I've install Nokia Series 60 MIDP SDK Beta 0.1 into c:\WTK104\wtklib\devices\Nokia_Series_60_MIDP_SDK_Beta_0_1

There is no space in the installation directory.

All the emulators (indcuding the PALM emulator) in J2ME 1.04 can run J2ME Demo project "demos" properly using kToolbar.

When using J2ME kToolbar to select device "Nokia_Series_60_MIDP_SDK_Beta_0_1" to open project J2ME "demo" , build and run

There is a java pop up windows for select MIDLET
    Color
    Properties
    Http
    Fontestlet
    Stock
    Tickets
    Manyballs

The Series 60 Emulator appear after I selected the Midlet.

But the emulator shut down immediately.

The message appear in J2ME Ktoolbar console

    Project "demos" loaded

    Emulator command: c:\WTK104\wtklib\devices\Nokia_Series_60_MIDP_SDK_Beta_0_1\bin\Epoc32\release\wins\udeb\kmidp_debug.exe -parent_port 2810 -traceexceptions -Dmicroedition.encoding=Cp1252 -Dmicroedition.locale=en_US -classpath c:\WTK104\wtklib\devices\Nokia_Series_60_MIDP_SDK_Beta_0_1\lib\j2me-debug.zip;c:\WTK104\apps\demos\classes;c:\WTK104\apps\demos\res;c:\tmp\midp\demos.jar -descriptor c:\tmp\midp\demos.jad Http

    According to release note.

    - After device selection, press Run before attempting to Build.
(It does not matter if running fails in this phase.)
    - After building, select Project->Package command before attempting to Run.

o Error message: Classpath is not set. Defaulting to "."
    - Check the command line parameters. This error message is sometimes
given when there are unrecognised parameters on the command line.
    - Check that emulator installation directory does not contain spaces.

It seem that the demo.jad and demos.jar are built into c:\WTK104\apps\demos\bin

But run command in kToolbar try to find them in c:\tmp\midp.

Do anyone know how to configure the run command in kToolbar to find the jar and jad in c:\WTK104\apps\demos\bin instead of c:\tmp\midp ?

RE: Nokia Series 60 MIDP SDK Beta 0.1 and J2ME WTK 1.04

I found out that in order to run the emulator in command mode, I have to change directory to c:\wtk104\apps\demos\bin, otherwise the emulator cannot find manifest from .jar file.

This may explain why I cannot run the emulator from kToolbar.

It is not possible to use the 60 series emulator with WTK1.0.4, you have to use 1.0.3 (it is mentioned in the readme file). Too bad the 1.0.3 version was withdrawn from the Sun site.
