How to remove runtime generated files during SIS uninstall?

    Hi,

does someone know how to remove runtime generated files during SIS uninstallation?
Is it possible to remove whole folder (with files) from phone during uninstallation.
Folder I need to remove is c:/system/apps/myapp.

    Any help appreciated!

Sure, its possible. You need to write small exe without any interface which would delete all needed files. Then inlude this exe something like this in pkg

    Code:
    "C:\Symbian\7.0s\Series60_v20\Epoc32\release\thumb\urel\YourExe.exe"
     - "!:\system\apps\YourApp\YourExe",FR,RR,RW
The installator will launch your exe on uninstalling.

Or you can add this to pkg
    Code:
    "" - "!:\system\apps\YourApp\YourFileToDelete",FN
Then the installator will delete this file (if exists) dureing removal.

Thanks! Are there any examples of such exe files?

Files that should be removed are created at runtime (random names) so I need to know way to remove the folder where they exist...

Is it possible to use something like...

    "" - "!:\system\apps\YourApp\*.doc",FN

... to delete all doc files during uninstall?
