    Disabling the text box using XHTML-MP

    Hi All,
    I am very new to XHML-MP. I have a simple requirement, where i need to disable a textbox. Below is the code snippet:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//WAPFORUM//DTD XHTML Mobile 1.0//EN" "http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/xhtml-mobile10.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <body>
    <form name="disable" method="POST" action="disable.jsp">
    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>
    <input name="Shrirama" value="Shrirama" disabled="disabled" />
    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    </form>
    </body>
    </html>

    I have deployed the sample application and tested it on a PDA. But still text box is not disabled.So can any one please help me in finding out the problem??

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    "disabled" is not included in xhtml mp...

    just print out <td>Shrirama</td> instead

    Thanks for your reply.
    But please click on this llink http://developer.openwave.com/docume...css_reference/
    This gives you the tags included in the XHTML-MP. Click on <input> tag link, and there you will find "disabled" attribute.

    And one more thing, i have a "button" and i want that to be disabled then how can i make it?

    openwave-phones maybe supports it but it's not included in XHTML-MP in general. try validating your code and you'll get an error telling you that there is no such attribute.

    you can't disable buttons either...
