    Access to class-file inside jar

    Hello everybody
Is it somehow possible in J2ME to get (read-only) access to a class-file in my jar-archive?

I already tried with getResourceAsStream(<filename>), but obviously this only works for 'real' resources and not for class-files.

I hope anybody can help me with this ...

    Class files directly? No.
Of course if you store the class file under different name (in addition to the real executable class) as a resource, then you could access those. But that would make your jar file bigger.
What are you trying to achieve?

Once the java file is compiled it is converted to byte codes and i dont understand the use of accessing the class file.
