    Carbide compilation errors

    Hi all!

    I've got a problem:
Compiling the "Hello world" example, I get these errors:

Severity Description Resource In Folder Location Creation Time Id
    2 the file 'HelloSymbianOne.rsg' cannot be opened HelloSymbianOneAppUi.cpp HelloSymbianOne/src line 14 20 aprile 2006 1.56.16 40

    And

Severity Description Resource In Folder Location Creation Time Id
    2 undefined identifier 'R_COMMAND1_TEXT' HelloSymbianOneAppUi.cpp HelloSymbianOne/src line 113 20 aprile 2006 1.56.16 41

    Do you have any idea?
    Any help is welcome :-)

    Bye!

    Re: Carbide compilation errors

    Hi,

The problem is that resource compilation was not done or it failed. Resource compilation generates .rsg header files which are needed during the application compilation. I think that you need to check that resource compilation was done successfully. The second error is caused by the first error.

    Re: Carbide compilation errors

    hi,
The error is due to the fact that ur RSG file is not generated due to some problems in ur resource file. and the second problem is that it is not able to find the ID that u have used from the .RSG file. so i think compiling ur resource file error free will clear both the probs.
Note: ensure that u have included the .RSG file.
    with regards,
    Hemanth.
