    epocaif.pl failed

    When building my project in carbide.C++ I get an error when building the aif-file.

    * Can't open dump file
    * epocaif.pl failed

    when I check the epocaif.pl in plugins\com.symbian.cdt.sdk_1.0.0\scripts I find the row:
    open(DUMP_OF_RESOURCE_1, "< $tmpdir\\_dump_of_resource_1") or die("* Can't open dump file\n");

    and further up in the file:
    $rcomp_spec .= "-:$tmpdir\\_dump_of_resource_ "; # causes Rcomp to dump each resource (uncompressed and unpadded) in $tmpdir\\_dump_of_resource_1, $tmpdir\\_dump_of_resource_2, etc

    It seems that rcomp doesn't create the dumpfiles. Has anyone got a solution to this problem?

    ps. bmconv can write to my tmpdir so the perlscript has access rights to the pmpdir.

    /Lars

    Re: epocaif.pl failed

    I tried that solution before and it did help to the point that I now can specify the temp directory.

    But rcomp still doesn't create any dumpfiles in the temp directory.
    According to the comment in epocaif.pl

    "# causes Rcomp to dump each resource (uncompressed and unpadded) in $tmpdir\\_dump_of_resource_1, $tmpdir\\_dump_of_resource_2, etc"

    the switch -: should produce some dumpfiles in the temp directory, that then are used further down in epocaif.pl .

    I can't find any documentation for the switch -: in the usage printout for rcomp.

    Re: epocaif.pl failed

    I made a workaround for the problem. I created a binary file named _dump_of_resource_1 in my temp directory. The file contained my UID in reverse byte order. E.g my UID = 0x03d51283 was written binary to _dump_of_resource_1 like 83 12 d5 03
