    seachbox???

    hi there people ..

    i'v been askng about the search box for so long by now ???
    now i got a simple idea .. and am wandering if u can help me with it ..?

    now
    i used a form .. and i added to it a textfiled and a choicegroup (multiple)...
    can i find a way to keep listening to the textfiled if anychanges happens to it ..????
    in order to make it waser to search ..????

    sth like if text changed do sth ???

    please people help me ...

    Hi dakoz,

    You can configure commands for you TextField using addCommand, setDefaultCommand and removeCommand as well as set a listener using setItemCommandListener.

    But AFAIK there's no way to fire a command without user action, so the answer is no.

    You can try using "Form.setItemStateListener(ItemStateListener)" listen the state change in the form. This will give indications on change in anything in form not only the text field.

    thanx alot i tried it and it worked wonderfully ..
