    hi,
Good to know that u r developing a blue tooth game.
    once u have the game u need to just add up code to it which can do the following;
    1. u need to first start the BTServer and try to find already available bluetooth devices.
2.once u do that then u need to do service discovery to find out what service the devices provide.
3.then u need to decide on a logic by which u can send commands from ur mobile and then decide how these commands can be interpreted on the other mobile to make the other player move on the other side.
4.for ex a simple logic for a player 1 to move his coin can be as follows.
A move on player1's mobile must move his coin on his mobile as well as his coin on the other persons mobile. thus once he moves his coin in his mobile corresponding command must be sent to the second player's mobile to move the player1's coin there also.
I thought that this would be one such logic. if u find a better logic do tell me also.
    with regards,
    Hemanth.

how long will it take for accomplishing the tasks specified by u ??a gud knowledge of the bluetooth API will do??

<<1. u need to first start the BTServer and try to find already available bluetooth devices.>>

--------how can i start this Bluetooth server thing??

<<2.once u do that then u need to do service discovery to find out what service the devices provide.>>

    --------services???wat are they???

    One more thing ,
i have made the game with an AI...so will the same approach ,as specified by u , work out??

    Hi tango85,

Gopal did a good job and provided a lot of good resources to you. It seems you would have answers to your questions if you had read them. Anyway, check the answers below:

---------->>how am i supposed to test my bluetooth application??
You can use the Nokia Connectivity Framework for emulation. Check:
    Nokia Connectivity Framework 1.2 - http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,6566,034-621,00.html

---------->>for example, if i have written some code for device discovery, how am i supposed to test it??
    Use NCF.

---------->>how am i supposed to run my application on my phone??wat all files should i create??How can i create JAR and JAD files using wireless toolkit2.1??
I provided an answer to you in this thread - http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ad.php?t=80082
