    jsr 75 and event access

    Hi

I see that JSR 75 allows access to "events". Do these events include call and text message events, etc. ?

    Thanks

Re: jsr 75 and event access

    Hi Larry101,

"Do these events include call and text message events, etc. ?"

AFAIK events in JSR-75 context are schedule related (agenda), so the answer is no.

Check information about the events database in the following document:

Introduction To The PIM API (With Example) v1.1
    http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n..._v1_1.zip.html

Call events will be addressed by MTA - Mobile Telephony API (JSR-253).

Also, WMA (JSR-120) allows you to register a MessageListener with the MessageConnection, perhaps it's what you're looking for..you can also use MIDP 2.0's Push Registry to have your MIDlet activated by an incoming SMS msg, in case you consider that an event...

    Hope it helps!

Re: jsr 75 and event access

    Hi

The JSR 75 gives access only to personal information management(PIM API) databases and local file systems (FileConnection API).

PIM api is all that mentioned in the link provided by Juarez.

    For fileconnection details
