Can you use platformRequest() to send DTMF only?

Hey I am still a newbie with J2ME and I am trying to create an application that sends a service request to the provider and checks the minutes used by the moment. The request is #646# using DTMF, also there is no calling number just entering #646# and dial. So is there a way to do this using platformRequest or anything else that may work. The phone I am targeting the application for is 6230i s/w3.62.

    Thanks!
